I am a sysadmin.
I started in IT by working in a call center for Comcast’s internet service, where I developed a high tolerance for pain and a keen appreciation for the power of unplugging things and then plugging them back in. Since then I’ve worked in progressively more advanced \ interesting positions with great companies in the area.
I was inspired to create this page by all of the random “IT guy blogs” that I’ve Googled my way across over the years. I am creating posts to do my small part – posting about “fixes” that I couldn’t find elsewhere online, as well as re-posting information I’ve found helpful from other sources (in case those pages go down at some point).
Here’s to all of the weirdos thoughtful enough to put their sysadmin knowledge online to help the rest of us out of a bind!
